Resonant Evil b/w Blue Acid
2-song 12"
Intelligent Recordings IQ-05

Producer Kelynge Easthope of Manchester, UK serves up his debut rolling acid DnB 12". A rare example of a 303 break working in the drum ‘n’ bass arena. This electro-inspired wicked stepper acts as the second release by the Didsbury massive (KTB, Serpico etc.)
Limited Pressing of 500 SOLD OUT

Kelynge Easthope, a young resident of Manchester, England completed these two evil drum ‘n’ bass tracks with an earful of electro, hip-hop and breakbeat, his alter ego as Utopian sat at a Cubase-equipped Windows machine for months crafting lengthy 10+ minute DnB excursions. From these lengthy novels he excerpted “Resonant Evil” and “Blue Acid” for the DJ and dancefloor to get lost in.

While Kelynge spends time away from his computer on occasion to attend classes or work his job, he is always in a mad rush to get back to the machine meticulously crafting tracks for UK-dubplate-DJs and Americans like us. As with Intelligent #4, these two tracks were put through a fine microscope by the Didsbury junglists before a DAT arrived in the US via airmail.

These two electro-inspired wicked ‘steppers are now available exclusively through Intelligent worldwide. This, Utopian’s debut, 12” is the second installment in a series of 12”s documenting the up-n-coming Manchester drum ‘n’ bass scene.
