Gapeseed’s “Grifting Ballistic” is taken from their CD “Lo Cell” on Silver Girl, they are 3 really nice guys from NYC. Track Star’s “The overextension of an idiot” was recorded for this release, they are San Francisco’s best band. Poem Rocket’s “Deus Absconditus” was recorded for this release by NYC’s most unique musical combo. Retriever’s “Q-tip” was taken from the 3rd cassette release from this amazing one-man project from Southern California. Laurels’ “Squeeze” was recorded for this release, they were the most blatently powerful trio in all of Rhode Island, they released one 7” on Silver Girl. Baboon’s “Bring me the head of Jack Skinner” is also available on the CD compilation “Welcome to Hell’s Lobby” of Dallas/Denton-area bands, Baboon of which is the best, they have one 7” on Silver Girl. Biscuit’s “You are not worth waiting for” was recorded for this release by the most captivating male/female duo from the suburbs of Detroit, MI. Stigmata A Go Go’s “Mid Pleasure” was recorded for this release on 4-track cassette by NYC’s top notch powerpop trio, they also have a 7” on Silver Girl. Holiday Flyer’s “Saturday” was recorded for this release by the best pop trio in Sacramento, CA. The Drift’s “Looping the Loop” is from their 2nd LP entitled “Liquid Time,” theiy released one 7" on Silver Girl and later reformed as Kyu. They live in Angers, France. Situation 5’s “Guts” marks the only public release by this Sacramento, CA duo. After breaking up, Holiday Flyer covered this song on their "You Make Us Go" CD (Darla). Hula Hoop’s “Sorry” is a Galaxie 500 song redone by Louisville, KY’s finest band, their US debut album on Silver Girl was released in Spring ‘95. Dufflecoats’ “Never Meant” is a left over track from their Winters Mist Volume 2 submission. They were a side project of UK-outfit Adorable. Suburban Teen Allstars’ “Little Radars” was their first release since the disbanding of their former (San Jose, CA) outfit The Jazzmen. They also released one 7" single. Hem’s “Scratch” was the debut release by this Leeds, England outfit containing two members of Boyracer. Noise
